I have just started a bicycle ministry of sorts. As you know I operate a bicycle repair shop out of my home. I just made and offer to Heritage Church on Pavo Road here in Moultrie that I would repair any bicycle they receive as a donation for just the cost of parts and if I have used parts then the repair would be FREE. So if you have any old bikes or bike parts that you would like to donate to a good cause let me know and we will see what kind of arrangements we can make.  I am relatively sure that I can get you a receipt for credit for a donation which you can use on your taxes, so let's talk.
Want the bills to go away, want less stress and more money, fewer responsibilities and better relationships?
Because 2013 is your best year ever.

If you want to get massive results in your
business, and in your life, than read this
entire message - and focus on the words
that I write.

I want to create massive success with you
this year.

Now, I believe that you can have what you
want in 2013, and that this year you will be
more powerful than any year in your
life.

And you have to listen, and pay attention,
to be a part of what we're doing.

My friend thought that it might be the end
of the world in December, and didn't happen...

...but it was the start of a revolution, of a new
world, for you.

See, the Mayan's never thought the world would
end on December 21st, 2012 - they believed that
time goes in cycles, and that date - this last week,
was the end of the age.

They're right.

And so are you.

Last year was incredible.

We created massive incomes - results for newbies,
and fast.

We had an team of visionaries who ran with us in
2012, and because you decided (you know who
you are) you've made more money, now - than
you ever have in your life.

And so can you.

We have a plan, to take the vision to new heights
of greatness.

The plan is for you, for your family, for your business,
for your future - NOWto act on this, by making a
decision to run with us, to be with us, shouting the
vision from the rooftops, and in the livingrooms
and auditoriums of the world...

...we can alter the fundamental nature of reality
itself, and the world is big enough for you, and
for me, to change your destiny now.

Monday night, at 9pm EST, is the birth of the
new vision - is the birth of a new you, is the
rising up of an army of voices, who decide
to be unreasonable with life.

And now, get ready.

Dial into this number, Monday night at 9pm EST:

Dial this number:  712-432-0900
Dial this code to get in:  260326#

*  If you're international, or the call is full, you
can get in somehow using skype.  Just go to
freeconferencing.com and they have instructions
on the site.

Let's change reality together.

Let's create an army of prosperity.

Let's crash down the walls of disbelief

Let's speak life together, into the world.

Because you are an incredible creation.

YOU are beautiful.

Let's do it.

-David Wood
"I change the nature of reality, by the words that I speak."

P.S.  I want you to LISTEN

Now:

I invite you to focus with me in 2013.

Lets' create something beautiful together, that
neither of us could do alone - because:

THAT is the vision.

THAT is the passion.

THAT is the reason.

and YOU are the CAUSE.

Let's do it. ($25 to start)

Stand Tall !

Stand Tall
December 30, 2012

We know what happens to people who stay in the middle of the road. They get run over.
Aneurin Bevan.

Taking a stand for anything takes courage and a bit of faith, It is often easier not to take sides, but to remain undecided or neutral, but if you are really passionate about something, you will take a stand and you will find it empowering to say the least. How do I know, because I used to be one of that had a lot of problems taking a stand about many things. One thing though I have learned is that there are times you must make a stand.

Last night I saw Spiderman, and as you
probably know from reading the comic,
or watching the cartoon....

....spiderman wasn't always a 'super hero'.

He was an ordinary kid, with an extraordinary
problem.

First he lost his parents.

Then his uncle was shot in front of him.

And after that, he was picked on....

Teased.....

Made fun of....

And scoffed at.

From that pain, a HERO was born.

Saving LIVES.

Defying ODDS.

And fighting EVIL.

Not because of money, recognition, or power.

But because he had a burning PASSION to
make a difference.

And to NEVER quit fighting for what he believed in.

EVEN when....

His reputation was on on the line....

His future was a stake.....

And his life was on the line.

He kept fighting.

And against ALL odds, suited up, showed up....

And NEVER quit.

I know of another story almost EXACTLY
like that.

Except this time....

Instead of 1 ordinary person....

...there was 40,000 of them.

And even when the banks shut them down....

Or when Facebook 'slapped' their site.

Or when they were picked on....

Teased.....

Made fun of....

And scoffed at....

They kept fighting.

And against ALL odds, suited up, showed up....

And NEVER quit.

This is the story of not 1 hero....

...but of 40,000 heroes.

Who NEVER quit fighting for what they believed in.

EVEN when....

Their reputation was on on the line....

Their future was a stake.....

And their lives were on the line...

They NEVER quit.

Because like Spiderman....

....they ain't no wussies.

So even though our growth is AGGRESSIVELY
souring....

And over $11-million dollars have been deposited
into the bank accounts of ordinary people...

And for the first time ever - tens of thousands of
marketers are set-up, blogging, and have eliminated
the overwhelm people in this industry have struggled
with for YEARS....

You ain't gotta be a HERO to join.

But you sure can't be a wussy.

And if you're ready to be EMPOWERED.

And lock arms with 40,000 other heroes on
a mission to make a difference.

Then let's lock arms....

...and FIGHT the forces of evil.

David Wood
"The Facebook Slayer"

P.S. Even though MASSIVE amounts of
money has been earned...

...and insane breakthroughs have been had
with our products....

That doesn't mean everyone gets rich.

P.P.S. This group of people are as close to
REAL LIFE heroes as I know.

You are smarter than you think

Christopher Robin to Pooh:

"Promise me you'll always remember: You're braver
than you believe, and stronger than you think you
are, and smarter than you think."
I remember way back as a younger I used to dream
BIG dreams. Impossible dreams.
Though I never once thought they were "impossible"
way back then because, as a kid, everything seems
possible. Didn't it?
Then as we grew older and had time to experience
a few set backs and a few disappointments... somewhere
along the line we stopped dreaming big and starting
settling for what we thought we COULD accomplish or
what we felt we DESERVED.
It's tragic, really.
Because if you have ever succeeded at doing anything
well... then you have everything you need to succeed
at ANYTHING well... except the belief that you still
can make wonderful things happen.
So here's my thought. Take a few minutes out of your
day to dream BIG once again.
Divide your life up into areas important to you.
* Financial Goals
* Family & Relationships, and
* Spiritual Development
Have a heart-to-heart conversation with yourself and
discover, once again, where you would like to be - if
a lack of money, time, skill, AND belief were not an
issue - where you would like to be in each of these areas.
How would you LIKE your life to look? What would a
perfect day consist of? Where would you find yourself?
Who would you be hanging out with? Where would you
be hanging out?
Take notes and jot your dreams down. Play with them
and flesh them out a little bit each day.
Give yourself PERMISSION to dream big and design - if
only on paper and in your imagination - your perfect life.
Because it is only AFTER you know where you are going
that you'll be able to set in motion the things that can
take you there. So begin by dreaming and always remember:
"You're braver than you believe, and stronger than
you think you are, and smarter than you think."
Bless and be blessed,

Ruth and I had thought about opening a bicycle repair shop at the house, but it had been just a thought, we had checked the expense of setting up something and decided it was too expensive and we were still recovering from another business that had lost a lot of money, so were not ready to spend another several thousand dollars to set up a bike shop. Information I had been able to get from various sources was that starting a shop would very like;y cost about 2500 to 3500.00. Because we did not have that sort of money we decided to wait and possibly not start the shop at all, but I did keep learning as much as I could about bikes. My grandchildren started racing BMX and I started repairing bikes for anyone that needed it at the track.

Then one day Jim Soos who knew that I loved bikes and for whom I had repaired a couple of bikes stopped by the house with his wife. It was a Sunday Morning I assume they had just come from Church. Jim and I had done some business in the past where I had sold some stuff on ebay for him, and I had done some bicycle work, but we had never talked about having a bicycle shop.  Ruth and I were both surprised when Jim asked if I would be interested in setting up a bicycle shop in his Book Store, he said he had plenty of extra room at the store and that I could either put a shop in the store or could repair the bikes at home. We set up a time to meet the next day at the store which was closed on Monday at the time. I told him at that time that I had indeed been considering the possibility but that the expense to set it up had pretty much kept me from doing anything .
I met with Jim at his store which was on the Square in Moultrie, directly across from the Courthouse and right next to a coffee shop that catered to young musicians, many of who rode bikes. He outlined an offer that I really could not resist and we began a partnership that I was very enthusiastic about.  I am still very enthusiastic about fixing bikes and helping people with their cycling needs, I do everything I can to help people with repairs, this year I even was able to give a few used bikes to charity.

In early 2012 the Book Store was moved to a larger facility and I moved the Bike Shop into the new building, Jim decided to  change the original agreement which I decided was not in my best interest, so I have moved the repair shop to the house, but I am still very enthusiastic about helping people with their cycling needs and repairing bikes for people and you still can drop off bikes at the store o me to repair.

The bike shop does not make enough money to pay for itself, but it does help me relieve stress and is interesting to me so I have to have other interests to pay the bills. I have my regular 40 hour a week job and I do OK with that, but like everyone I can use a little extra money to help cover extra expenses. We were just told that the hospitalization insurance would not pay one of my hospital bills 3400.00 because the hospital where I went in Moultrie was not in the companies Network, so I have to pay the entire bill. it is things like this that come up and you need some extra cash.

I have found a couple of things that bring in some extra cash and would like to share one with you here. I received this email from my sponsor in the Empower Network Program. I have not made the kind of money Sotero has but I will keep working enthusiastically toward that goal.

Can you believe this!?
Someone actually said to me,
"As much as I hate to admit it, Empower
Network looks great, but you're already
so filthy rich that I can't stomach even
giving you another 25 dollars..."
He actually said that to me!
How much sense does THAT make!?
So you like it... you see that it can CHANGE
your LIFE... it's so stinkin' cheap... but
you're too stubborn to do anything!!
Look, if it makes you feel any better, I
paid for Empower Network, too. I'm no
different than this guy... or you for that
matter.
Paying $25 to me isn't putting me on a
pedestal... because I had to pay someone
else for it, too!
It's such a stubborn approach, and really,
it's only hurting this guy... not me!
I'm making millions with or without his 25
bucks.
How foolish of him to not make a move when
I could have helped him quickly change his
life.
Shame, Shame.
Don't be like him!
Learn from his ignorance.
Here ya go:
Don't be stubborn!
I'll see ya on the inside.

Today we took Ruth to the surgeon to find out about getting her Biopsy to see if the mass is  malignant. That took up all morning and when I got back there were 2 bikes I had to finish.  1 bike was a Schwinn Mountain Bike that had bald tires, blown tubes and crooked wheels. It took a couple hours to get that one ready. I let the customer know it was ready and started on the other one which was an older 15 Speed Huffy Bike that was not shifting correctly, after checking it out thoroughly I realized that the rider had probably never shifted it out of the big cog and the cable had became stuck. Lubricating the cable and moving it back and forth along with moving the derailleur back and forth took care of that one.
I have set up a facebook page for BMG Cycles Plus which is what I am now calling the repair shop https://www.facebook.com/BmcCyclesAndFitness?ref=hl
If you wish to buy a new Fuji, KHS, SE, Free Agent, Terry, or Manhattan bike you need to stop by Christian Books & More across from the Farmer's Market in Moultrie. There are also a few Antique Bikes out there.
Saturday we headed to Albany Georgia for a BMX race at the Parks at Chehaw. There were 5 motos I believe, Jason and Kevin raced against Christian Arquillo, and Danny Gyorfi , Jason took 3rd place and Kevin took 4th, then they all came to our trailer and sit around talking for a while. I tightened a chain for one of the riders and we headed for home.
Saturday night was quite different as we went to Heritage Church for the Merry Christmas Tour with Newsong, Building 429, Francesca Battesstelli, and Johnny Diaz.  Everyone enjoyed the concert, it was just so much fun. The music was great and the company was fantastic.
Since I plan to have BMG Cycles get a lot larger than just here at the house and very likely have much more than just cycling and Fitness information I have changed the name to BMG Cycles Plus. I expect that the main focus will be on bikes, bike repairs, cycling, cycling gear etc, and there will be some info on training as well, especially BMX and Road racing. In addition I may add some other things. If I am ever able to afford a building where I can have a permanent location then there will probably be several other "departments" added.
When you get a chance check out the shop's facebook page by clicking here give it a like and you will get a surprise "gift" I am not sure yet when it will be or what it will be, but I will try to make it something very special.
Also if you are looking for some extra cash for Christmas or maybe to pay some bills etc you should definitely check this out
Have a great day

Don't Count the Days, Make the Days Count

December 16, 2012
Muhammad Ali once said "Don't count the days, make the days count"
When we were children we would count the days til Christmas and wait very impatiently to open the presents on Christmas Day.  I know of a family that used an Advent Calendar to count down the days. She says she still does that with her grandchildren but while she cherishes each day, the grandchildren just want the days to be over. That sounds about like me when I was little.
Age and maturity bring a totally different perspective however, and today as I count down the days to Christmas I look for things I can do to help others. My own resources are limited , but there are still things I can do, and so can you.
Since I have a Bicycle Repair Shop in my backyard, I have been repairing bikes at pretty much no charge except for parts, and if I can find used parts from one of my "parts" bikes I  include those at no charge also. I have also donated some reconditioned bikes to a group that was looking for 100 bikes to give to children. I am not sure if they made it or not.
We cleaned out one of our sheds and could not believe all the stuff we found that we had not used in years, but still had life left in it,  We thought about having a yard sale to make a little extra cash, but the spirit of giving kind of took over so we donated it all to a local Thrift Shop.  We have a lot more room and the church will get a little money to help them out, so everyone is happy.
One thing that I have found in life in the 60 years I have been alive is that there is no better feeling that a person can have than the act of helping another. That especially applies to children and those that for some reason cannot help themselves. That is why when I choose a charity I almost always choose one that helps children in need. I have done charity bicycle rides for Cystic Fibrosis, Toys for Tots (Bikes or Bust) ,and each year I join Bret Wagenhorst at the Tiftarea YMCA to help with the Tour de Tifton which will be held April 6, 2013 and benefits the YMCA underprivileged children's programs. I have done a few more adult rides like rides for the ADA, but for the most part I look for events that help children.
When I do these charity bicycle rides I meet a lot of absolutely wonderful people and get great exercise. They are a tremendous amount of fun and the fellowship with like minded people  is absolutely fantastic.
I even once did a " Bench Press" contest for Easter Seals. Came in 5th if I remember right at just barely 300 lbs, but I was a lot younger then. The event raised a few thousand dollars and everyone had a great time.
So what if you can't ride a bike or lift 300 lbs for a cause, you can clean out he attic or he shed, or the Garage and give those still usable items to a church or a Thrift Shop that helps homeless people or something like that. Instead of just counting the days you can make the days count.
If you are needing some extra cash to help yourself and maybe to help others too, why not take a look at the Empower Network  which is a really neat program where you can make really good money and get started with only 25.00 a month. Within a few more months I expect that I will be able to retire from my regular job and enjoy working totally from home. If that is a dream of yours, by all means check out this link

No matter who the advice comes from though it is great advice.  If we spend less than what we earn and put a little a way each payday then we will not only survive but thrive when others are wondering how they can make it. If we :save up" for something like say a new stereo that we really want, by the time we get the money to pay cash for it we may find a better one. We can almost always get a better deal on the same item if we can pay cash and  if we have the money to pay cash or write a check then we also save all the interest which can often be more than the cost of the item itself.
Several years ago I was at a seminar in Orlando Florida that Michael Penland was putting on. I don't remember the exact words so I will try to paraphrase what was said there by one Mark Hendricks who was one of the presenters at the seminar. There are three ways to improve your bottom line
1. increase revenue, make more sales sales
2. Decrease expenses, cut off things that don't work, look over ROI and streamline your business.
3. Do Both
It seems like a very simplistic formula, and really it is, but sometimes the simplest things in life are what works best. I remember a man once told me his philosophy was SIB-KIS. See it Big- Keep it Simple.  I try to do that most of the time.
But we have grown into a society that lives on credit and wants instant gratification. I have to admit I have fallen into the credit trap more than once and I am not proud of those indiscretions. I have however been trying really hard to avoid as much of them as possible. But what do you do when you find yourself with more payments on your "bills" then you have income?
Here is what just about any entrepreneur will tell you. If you don't have enough income to pay all the payments, then make more income and pay the payments. Sounds simple doesn't it. Really it is, especially with Internet Marketing where so many people are making small and large fortunes with such small investments.
Here is a question someone asked me just the other day :
Are you seriously going to let 25.00 stand in the way of you making money on the Internet?
Well are you ..........?
We have a REAL home business opportunity for EVERYONE and what we have here is amazing......and it works.  You can get started for as little as $25.00 and begin building a business from there.
Are you allowing EXCUSES to stop you like these:
"I don't have much money."
GREAT!  This business only costs $25 to start.  Take that, money excuse!

"I don't have much time."
GREAT!  If you've got 20 minutes a day, this will work for you.

"I don't have a list."
GREAT!  This is all about building one and making money in the process!

"I don't know how to create a product"
GREAT!  The product is provided for you!

"I don't like tiny commissions"
GREAT!  You earn 100% of the commissions in this business.  Every dime!
Do not let fear hold you back or the thought that you can not do it...because you CAN do it.....ANYONE can.

Ok so now you can keep buying "stuff" on credit paying interest on your purchase and pay double or more of the price you could buy the exact same item for cash. Or you can build a small Internet Business that makes enough money that you can pay cash, have everything you need, help others and even put some savings away for a rainy day. The choice is totally yours, no one can do it for you, you and only you can make the decision to make this happen.
